Education & Childcare Cleaning Canberra

A Centre Parents Feel Good Walking Into

Childcare and education environments have a higher hygiene burden than almost any other commercial setting: dozens of children, shared toys, and close contact throughout the day. ACT Cleaning by Demand uses only non-toxic, child-safe products and follows disinfection protocols designed for high-contact environments.

All staff are police-checked. Parents notice, directors appreciate it, and regulators expect it.

Each visit follows a set order: play areas, activity rooms and classrooms are cleaned and sanitised first, then toilets and nappy change areas are disinfected to a higher standard given the age of the children in care, and kitchen and food preparation surfaces are cleaned last to a food-safe standard. High-touch points, door handles, light switches, railings and shared equipment, are wiped down on every visit, not just on request. For centres wanting an extra layer of protection during cold and flu season or after an illness outbreak, we also offer standalone sanitisation and disinfection visits, which can run alongside a regular commercial cleaning schedule.

Canberra childcare centres and schools operate under close regulatory scrutiny, and cleaning is one of the first things a compliance visit checks. We schedule around your operating hours, arriving before children start arriving or after pickup, so classrooms and play areas are never cleaned while in use. The same trained teams also service Canberra's medical and dental clinics and offices, so we understand how to work carefully around sensitive, high-traffic environments rather than treating every site the same way.
